2000 f150 stormtrooper build
 

Ok so I have a white f150 lariat 4x4 and I wanna give it that "stormtrooper" look. If you don't know what I mean then look up stormtrooper f150. What could I do to give it that look? I'm thinking smoked head lights and tail lights, black brush gaurd bumper, black wellwell flares ( I think that's what they are called, the raptor has them), some off road lights, and eventual black rims and a lift kit. Should I paint my grill and bumpers? Any other suggestions. Thanks

I want it to look something like this. Maybe more black

Get black housing lights, not smoked. You get the blacked out look but you don't sacrifice any light output. I'd paint the bumpers white, get a black billet grille, and black brush guard. Black wheels and nerf bars and leave the fender flares white. Don't just plastidip your Lariat and make it look like an XL. Take some time and make it mostly white with black accents, which is what a storm trooper really is.

What are nerf bars? Should I paint my tool box black? I alsohave like a lower gold accent wide paint strip, kinda like the black plastic on the new fx4 at the lower part of the door and tram but its paint and goldish. Should I paint that white or black?

I'd paint the trim line white if you don't want it. And nerf bars are black metal tube steps.

I think my truck already has nerd bars, are they the same as running boards? Do I have to take it to a shop to get it painted or can I do it myself?

Here's what I'm talking about with a tasteful storm trooper. No chrome, mostly white, but there's enough black there to break it up and accent it, without looking like a work truck.
