Default 2000 F150 Starting Issues

I have a 2000 F150 automatic with a 5.4liter V8. The truck sometimes will not start I turn the key and the only thing that happens is the lights/dashboard/Radio/windows work. It does not turn over. Then I will try it again in a few days and it will start right up.

I have had it towed to the dealership and then it started fine for them. I took it home and drove it for about 5 days and then the same thing happened would not start.

I drove it to the dealership today and they are trying to trace the issue and they are trying to rule out the starter.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on this.

Thanks

I had that happen before but mine was simply a loose connection. Have u checked ur ground point for neg. batt cable and both cable ends. It just sounds like ur not getting a good connection somewhere. Check to make sure wires r tight in the cable ends. Other than that, possibly loose ignition wire or ign wire grounding out on something. Its most likely gunna be wiring in my opinion
