Exclamation 1997 Hickup HELP!!

I was driving down the road today and i pulled up to a stop light, and i could feel the truck vibrate every so ofter like a hick-up. I got about a mile down the road then it started to hick-up while accelerating, then the check engine light began flashing. I pulled over to see if i could find anything, nothing. I changed the oil around 500 miles ago and I have about 150,000 miles on the 4.6L v8 engine. ANY IDEAS? S.O.S. i'm thinking something with the fuel pump, maybe I got some bad gas or just need to fill it up because i always run around 1/4 tank because I don't have much money for the 30 gallon tank fill up. I don't want my baby to die so please help! Thank You.

A flashing Check Engine light on an F150 means at least one of the cylinders is mis-firing and you need to get it fixed quickly. If you have an OBD II scanner your code will even tell you which ones they are.

Problem fixed Cylinder 5 was misfiring, changed the plug and it runs like new. I also ran some seafoam through the system.

Woot! Glad it was #5 and not one of the rear ones that are practically under the firewall.
