I have a 97 f150 that had a regular 4.6l in it that had over 200k miles. so the timing chain was gone, the heads gone, had no power also i cudnt keep oil in it. so a rebuild i couldnt find any under like 1200 bucks for that truck. but a crown vic block is the same so i figured i would buy a 99 or dwn crown vic do the bottom end swap so i found a whole motor with under 60k miles on it for like 500 bucks. turns out the guy lied to me when i got it in and it is like a 04 maybe and is a pi motor. i need help either finding a intake mainfold for a truck that would fit or help in how to make the pancake still crown vic intake work in a truck. any help in how to get the pi motor changed over into it will help.
