i have a 97 f150 that i wrecked and i was wondering what the difference was between the triton 4.6 and the 4.6 that is in a mustang. the engine is still good i believe, and was hoping to find a mustang to drop the engine in. i know that i have to change the upper intake but wasnt sure what else had to be done. any help?

Physically its the same motor, i think the cams are profiled for more TQ, and i dont know for sure if the computer handles the engine management differently.

So can i still put pi heads and change the upper/lower intake and drop it in a mustang?
