Default -12 offset

I'm looking at a set of rims 16x8, +4 backspace and -12 offset. I always have a hard time visualizing these measurements. What I don't want is the rim sticking way out of the fender - basically I'm just looking for a stock look in terms of wheel placement, maybe just a bit further out. Anyone else have pics of rims in this size?

I have 17x9 xd spy's with a -12mm offset with 4.53 backspacing. Set my wheels about 3/4" to maybe 1" out farther.

Out farther than stock. My tires still do not reach the fender flares.

Yeah same here, I've got 17x9 eagle alloy 079 with 4.5 backspacing and -12 offset. They stick out a little bit more than stock, but still do not stick past the fender flares.
