You can get a new bumper valence for $40, so nothing to be worried about trimming it a little.
However I think the King Ranch valence is painted to match?

even bumper isnt that expensive to replace if you trim it slightly.

So many crank the torsion bars, and trim a little, and run 35s They may still rub if they ever bottom out if they didnt lower the bumpstops on the A arms

somewhere just over 33 is about all that will fit without touching at all, and its close. Some lt285 s in Mud terrain tred are 33-33.1" If you trimmed 1/4 inch from valence youd never be able to tell. but have to watch wheel offset and tire width too not to hit anything else.

Yea I don't know how to do the trimming is my biggest problem lol. And I would be okay with 33s I found a set today that I'm hoping I can get. They are "used" but not really used. They are 285/70/R17 Cooper Discover tires. Also running factory wheels is there a way to get that look with the tires slightly sticking out? Or would I need a new wheel for more offset? Just looking around right now they tires on the truck are boarder line new so no reason to replace them right now, Unless I find a really good deal on 33s

I have 16" wheels ( came on it when I bought it) and I put 295 75 16 General Grabbers and I had to trim the valence a little. You can hardly tell unless you're really looking. But I'm happy with the results and I think it looks good. I do get complements on it.

Swampaz are you 4x4? On my 2wd trucks I've always ran 33s because they fit in there nice and snug.

Another quick question I've noticed this before but it became more noticeable after I filled the gas tank all the way up and its cold outside... When driving around 43-48 MPH it feels like the truck is jerking back and forth trying to shift up and down at the same time.. Not sure if its because its a 4x4 that it just feels a bit different at this range or what. But if I speed up over 50 its smooth as can be and at 42 and below same thing as smooth as can be. I checked the transmission fluid it is right in the middle on the "Hot" on the dipstick after operating the truck for about 2hrs. It drives fine when on the highway and moving but in slower traffic where I have to stay around 43-48MPH with a lot of stop and go it doesn't seem to like that. Any things I should check on to maybe find whats causing this jerking feel or is it probably nothing and me being paranoid?

Thats what a bad coil can feel like, slight jerky feeling

misfire under acceleration at that speed

Or clogged fuel filter too, same thing, misfire under acceleration causes jerky feeling

No MIL? could be burnt out, or someone could disconnect it to sell it....

You can pull codes and see if anything shows
Mode 06 data will show if its any misfire that hasnt thrown code yet
PCM codes can be read with the right scantool and forscan

NO, you shouldnt feel any surging, jerking, hunting for gear, etc.

So should I run it to a store like Advance Auto or AutoZone that does free read outs? It's not really like a misfire its more like when im coasting around those speeds. If I am actually on the gas it goes through the gears just fine. I'm sure its possible it could be a bad coil. And I can replace the fuel filter with no problem... Just was waiting until after my move starting tomorrow to do my full normal tune up I do on all vehicles I buy used. I'm not sure what a "MIL" is.

Ah okay yea, there has not been any check engine lights come on. I will run it by a shop and let them pull codes on it and see if anything comes up. If not what would be the easiest way to start troubleshooting without replacing things that aren't needed to be replaced at this time?

Places like autozone dont read pcm codes or mode 06 data

If it is tranny, may have pcm code, a real shop can read this
