Default 02 Sensor locations

Guys, I have a bad 02 sensor Bank 1 sensor 2. How can i find out wich of the 4 sesors this one is? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, forgot to mention this is a 2001 Screw 4x4 5.4L

Bank 1 Sensor 2 is passenger side after the catalytic converter.

I had similar problem here's where you sensor 2 would be, you can unplug it if it's running very rough won't get as good mpg's tho

9 times out of 10. No wait, more like 99 times out 100, when you get an oxygen sensor code it is not because the sensor itself is bad but it is because of another issue. Long term effects of said issue could indeed damage an O2 sensor though.

Yea you would have to get these two DTC's on the same bank 171 and 172 to pinpoint a bad O2 sensor. It's when they test positive for lean and positive for rich at the same time. That's a bad O2 without a doubt, but only at sensor 1 on the bank...not 2.

Are you getting an 1137 or 1138 or something?
