I will have pictures here in a little bit. and some updates too...

until then, does anyone have any headlights/corners that have clear lenses they want to get rid of/sell? I will be hacking them up for "test" purposes so I need em on the cheap.

FYI I am an engineering student so I come up with crazy ideas, and since this is MY thread I will probably ***** it out with ideas. its better to write them down because I will forget them

no. aftermarket ones. with clear lenses. like this:

it all started out in 2000, my dad had 2 kids in boyscouts and a reg. cab toyota pickup just wasnt cutting it. so he got a bigger truck. i was 11 when he bought it and when i turned 16 i got to drive it to and from school...then in college it became mine. and i found some forums...and the money wasting, dream building and moding began..so heres my story:

then came the lightning headlights, clear corners, 4x4 valance and clear lense fog lights and a 2in coil spacer

then I put 2 lights behind my grill

then i got some more behind there for 4 lights and got some new tail lights that were later ditched cuz i thought they looked like dodge tail lights

i still wasnt sittin tall enough so i got a bigger lift: 3.5" lift spindle and 2in lift coil and 4in block out back


removed the running boards to make it look taller...it worked!

then got a full exhaust system done comprising of: OBX SS long tube headers, resonators, dual E-cutouts, x-pipe, dual borla XR-1 race mufflers and tipped before the rear tire-Lightning style!

then went out with my GF and she took some professional pics of my baby


and painted some of the inside

then I did a HUGE project: building my own prerunner bumper/grill guard/gettheFoutofmyway bar

did it in a weekend so i was kinda rushed..the next one will be better for sure

got a FREE fullsize toolbox...that i painted black


then removed some stupid warning stickers

got rid of all the crap behind my backseat including the 6disk holder, stock bottlejack holder and lost quite a bit of weight, and now i have a fullsize jack and tire iron in my tool box with my recovery gear...etc..

got smoked heads and corners

and on my new bumper I have 4 hella 500FF's, behind my grill I have 2 hella 500FF's AND 2 hella 700FF's. then added 55W 5k HIDs to my fogs to match my headlights

and no theyre not all pointing fowards, some are outwards..i dont need everything to see in front of me....

i was going for the black and white theme of a stormtrooper and the chrome in the headlights and fog lights werent cutting it for me...so i painted them all




foglights will be installed tonight i hope.
and so that brings us up to date. heres a sneak peek as to what she will look like at the end of next month


I will next start a pole as to what color my bumpers will be painted.

on its way I have a 7.5" fabtech lift with 5in block out back. will be adding 2in coil spacer in the front and 2in lift shackle and 2in AAL

also got my tires. theres still a lot of tread left but for 200 bux for 35s not too bad of a deal
