So it's A fully built 5.4 with stock ported eaton. Ported intake to match the trickflow heads and the plenum is ported to the ported supercharger so then we got the what I believe to be the root of the problem my accufab single blade TB. I think the holes to mount the TPS are drilled in the wrong location. So my tuner had to slot the TPS and since winter summer winter I think it may have moved. Throwing the tune off. I get a TPS not consistent with MAF code. It runs really unusually good until it starts to miss at WOT. Also don't like too much throttle at once. If I'm nice to it runs great. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Common with the accufab tb. I had the same issue with my accufab tb on my old s/c 98 cobra. I ended up switching back to a stock tb.

It could also be in the tuning. Let me see what I can dig up..

Edit: Look up Billetflow.com they actually make their on single blades, and custom dual bore tb's.

I'm pretty sure the computer knows when the engine is in distress. The comp actually shut the fuel off in mid run at 3/4 throttle. Also my wideband pegged out at 22.5!! I pulls over and shut the key off and on again and it started like nothing happened. Runs good if I'm nice to it but too much gas at once and it does some pretty strange things. Anyone else have this issue? Hopin it's just the TPS. The TPS only has a few thousand miles on it as I put a new one on when I installed the TB.could it be a timing issue?

It could be timing. Best bet would be to datalog the pcm and get it to your tuner to see whats going on. Could be a bad tps. I have seen the comp adjustable cam gear jump time before.

You have! That's scary. I would have just done some non adj if I had known. Not fun getting to them puppies. I have a wideband that does data logging. I've never tried that feature. Thinkin I should learn how to use it. Thanks!

I'd first replace the TPS with a motorcraft unit from ford. Then get datalog the pids in the pcm..

Pids? Prob? Is it ok to slot the TPS? When the tuner was doing it I kina felt like ford made it non adjustable for a reason. But with an aftermarket TB... Also it it common for the computer to shut the fuel off when it leans out?

no sounds like you maybe running out of fuel. Pids are signals sent to the pcm. What mods do you have done to the fuel system?
