whats a good performance chip for the 01' 4.6lt? i havn't done anything to my truck but daul exhaust. and im looking for more performance.

 

Probably the most common programmers are the edge evolution programmers. Edge programmers have a great reputation and they come with a module that makes it look really good in your truck. I do not own one but from what I have heard they add a good amount of power, torque, and even a mpg or two. I have been itching to buy one, but they run about $360-$400 new.

 

unless you want the little pod that sets on the dash which is a nice feature and worth the extra money to me. but the superchip makes almost the same extra power and torque as the the edge and it cheaper to. might wanna try ebay to look at some just watch out on there they have a bunch of foney crap on there that aint worth what it cost to make but you can tell there fake or check your local craigslist

 

oh yeah i forgot if you plan on doin anything else say a cold air intake and a new exhaust the best thing to do is get custom tunes so that your truck will not run lean they are gonna make the most power anyway might wanna check out troyer tunes or sct tunes they are gonna cost the most but they are also gonna make the most power
