my tailgate rattles when im driving and causes an annoying chirp. Do any of you guys know what i can do to tighten it or grease it up?

 

There's a bump stop on either end of the tailgate as I remember, might be rubbing on that. Might try wedging some cardboard in there to tighten it up and see if it still chirps on you, might be coming from somewhere else.

 

im pretty sure its the tail gate, i was waxing it and pushing up against it and it was making the squeak. ill try some wd40 and the cardboard or a rag. Thanks

 

look on the right side of the tailgat at the bottom when its open there is a plastic piece in there wheere you take the tail gate off it might be missing or might be dry and squeking

lol thats about the only place it can be making that noise at there is one on the other side to if you know how to take it off you can check the other side to it dont take 30 secs to take it off
