yes, i text and drive, but somehow i always have a passenger with me and they keep it straight while my eyes are off the road, plus im never in traffic where i live

I do, but Skull is right. It's a stupid and horrible habit that I am trying to break. I can't imagine how I would feel or how anyone else would feel if someone in my family were killed because someone was txting or driving, or worse if I or someone I knew killed someone because of it

 

I have seen first hand what can happen when a driver is killed,or he kills while texting.I have seen the aftermath.And to tell ya the truth,i have no sympathy for ppl who might get into accident's while there texting,or ppl that have gotten ppl killed or hurt while texting.They look for sympathy and tell the papers and news"Oh i didn't mean for it to happen,i am sorry,i feel really bad" Oh freaking well you dumb motherucker.I don't feel bad for the sentence they get either.I know its an accident on there part,but i think there should be a minimum of 2 years for juvenile detention,and 5 years jail for adults.Some ppl might call this harsh,oh well if it is.Now as for the juvies,if you can get your DL at 16,your old enuf to know better and take the consequence's for your actions.

 

HELL no I don't text and drive...

I don't even look at my phone when I'm driving... partly thanks to Sync in my truck I just hit the button and answer a call

I yell at people for texting while driving anytime I ride with them... that stuff is STUPID dangerous


it's worse than drunk driving!

 

Yeah the consequences really aren't worth it just pull over at a rest stop and pick up a soda or something while your at it if the txt message is really that important

I'm not convinced that deserves a retort, because I sincerely hope the comment was in jest. As common sense would dictate that it doesn't matter how good YOU THINK you are, and that nobody is perfect. Again I'm under the impression it was a joke, but I just wasn't entirely sure.
