Default Travel Advice Please

Leaving for trip from West Virginia to Tampa. Usual route is I-77 South through Charlotte to Columbia, then I-26 East over to I-95 South. Then I-95 South through Savannah to JAX, I-10 West to I-75 South, then south to Tampa.
Should we plan a different route to avoid Matthew damage, and if so, what would you reccomend? Thank you for any assistance with this trip. Major concern besides road closures is fuel availability.
Grandchildren in Tampa need our help, so we do need to go.
2014 F-150 SuperCrew is packed full.
Thankful to have the 36 gallon fuel tank.

Not sure about the rest of the route, but from Jacksonville I10 to I75 to Tampa is pretty clear from damage. Most of the Matthew damage was along the eastern coast.

77 out of charlotte to columbia is clear. I can;t say for sure about that south. You may want to think about I85 south out of Charlotte. It will take you all the way to Atlanta in the western third of the SC you know where Atlanta is. If you need anything around Charlotte I'm just off of exit 88 on I77 in Fort Mill. Gas is plentiful around here.

Thank you for the advice and assistance offer. We made the trip with no hurricane related problems. Saw downed trees and high water on I-95 South between I-26 and JAX, but nothing affecting the road or services at the exits.
Traffic from Lake Norman through Charlotte was terrible. Is that normal or a symptom of the I-95 closure in part of NC ?
Thanks for your help!
