Default Eco Boost in Florida?

Sorry to bore you guys with another EB thread but after all the research I've done I've got to ask. I'm currently living in NC but will be moving back to Clearwater in June. After driving both the 5.0 and EB I was ready to buy the EB till I did some research. With all the rain we get in Florida it sounds as though I need to stay away from the EB. With that said and all the EB sales I'm sure there are plenty in Florida. Any of you guys down there wish you bought the 5.0 instead?

I'm ready to buy a truck in the next 2 weeks and don't want to make a $50k mistake. I would appreciate input from anyone running the EB in Florida.

Wow, 47 reads and not one response.

Guess no one in Florida has the EB, lol.

We're in FL and our '12 F150 EB is a daily driver. No problems with the rain.

I live in the Bay Area. Traded my 2006 5.4L for a 2012 Ecoboost and I haven't had any problems other than the drive shaft lube problem solved with a tech bulletin under warranty. Very happy with it. I do miss the nice dual exhaust I had though a bit.
