Default Green Ridge State Forest!!

On Wednesday, I found myself coming back from a job site and passing near Green Ridge State Forest, so I stopped by and saw a ranger there. He confirmed that the ORV trail which closed down is the ATV / Dirt bike trail and that the 4x4 roads are still open. I had him recommend a few to me and I went solo on the trails - although they are not very long, parts were a little tricky with some of the ruts being 18" deep or more. I was glad I had higher ground clearance as those with lower clearance probably could have gotten hung up. However, without a lot of rain making the trails muddy, they were not overly challenging.

Point is, the trails were fun - better than I expeceted, many trails that I did not go down to explore as well. Many very nice camp grounds throughout the park too - Green Ridge looks like a winner to me. Here are some pics.

Thanks for the info! Glad to know there is at least someplace to do some muddin' in MD. I just wish it was a bit closer to civilization!

New to the forum, from AA County. Bought a 2011 FX4 EcoBoost last month, so far I like it alot. I just noticed the MD section here, glad to see some locals here. Been thinking of getting a new exhaust, any recommendations on who does good work in the area.

Welcome to the site. I get some of the work I can't do at a place in Baltimore county called Auto Truck Outfitters. It's kind of pricey but they have done good work for me. And all the guys there are professional and trained.

Hello Fellow Marylanders!

Does anyone know of a good transmission shop to rebuild/ replace my E4OD? I'd like the full shebang! Low price, a good guarantee, and a quality rebuild/ replace!
