Default Installed a sub

Installed a pioneer 10" sub w a 1000w max 500w RMS Kenwood amp.

Thanks! I'll post the final pics in a couple of weeks and a sound clip. I have the bass at -2, the amp turned down to half power or lower, and the sub level on my deck at 6 out of 15 and it is still crazy load.

What's the mounting depth on that thing?? I need to find a good sub that will fit under my supercrew seat

Mounting depth 5 1/4"
Holds 1 - 10" woofer (upfire)
Sealed Enclosure

My pioneer was a half inch too big so I used silicone to fill that gap.

How do you like the 445 powerpack? My friend is considering getting one, but hasn't been able to actually listen to a stereo with one installed.

Pretty good for my needs. I have cranked the speakers until my ears hurt and they do not lose clarity. I think it probably all depends what you pair the amp with...e.g. speakers with an appropriate RMS rating. For example, I have Polks DB571 60RMS and they sound great with this amp.
