Plate sticker placement in Ontario ?!

Yep, sticker goes on front plate in Ontario, regardless of category. Ticket was quashed, coward cop never showed up.

Thanks for sharing BigM740 ... I just joined, so I didn't see this post last fall. Mind if I ask where the cop was from (Metro, York, Peel, OPP ...)
I have a brother with York Region and a brother-in-law with RCMP (works in the GTA) ... might be able to make sure that cop gets "further training" on the Highway Traffic Act :-)
Sucks that you had to waste your time fighting a bogus ticket.
Also, to clarify regarding the personalized plates ... they are only available with blue lettering (so I was told when I ordered them) ... vehicle type doesn't matter. Kinda bummed me out, would have preferred black lettered plates for my white truck.

Glad to see you beat this bs ticket. I support LEO’s don’t get wrong, this cop obviously was ignorant about the HTA or was having a bad day.

The GTA is full of ignorant cops. In downtown, especially during events/game season, their IQ sinks to dangerous levels the moment they spot an aggressively looking truck. Their MO has increasingly become like “lay the charge now, sort it out in court later”. After I got pulled over for a hitch with no load months ago, he frowned at my bullet-style antenna (which was off of amazon btw) and he asked me to take it off immediately. I was trying to catch a very important flight that day and didn’t have a minute to argue with him so I just broke it off the threading so he could **** off. It’s precisely the grey areas in the HTA where no specifics are stated they tend to beat on. I swore the next time this happens I’m going with my dashcam to the Globe and Mail.
