Default Yet another Edge Evo thread

I searched but got no definitive answer I was wanting. For those of you who bought one, was it worth it. Did you really notice a increase in response and pulling power. Not really worried about MPGs but that would be a plus. I have a 5.4 Lariet and sometimes I feel it pulls really well and others its a dog. I guess thats the setback of the 4spd tranny. It doesnt always take off well at certain rpms. But like I say, would you buy another one? Also where is the cheapest place, Realtruck.com and autoanything seemed to be the 2 lowest

Check out the reviews on them. Edge makes a great tuner and it will give you performance!

Yes it was worth it and yes I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I bought mine used for cheap, keep an eye out in the classified section.

Yes, your gonna be asking yourself why it took so long to decide. Mainly you'll notice it dropping down faster like when going to pass. And running lvl3 with premium gas and a couple tweaks on some peramiters and you'll feel a difference in power. As for mpg. If you keep your foot out of it maybe see 1-2mpg. I wouldn't know cause in always zooming around! I first had an edge evo and loved it, now have a cts, only reason I went with the cts is cause I could NOT pass up the great deal I got on it. You can find a used one all day for 235-275 on here. But if your set on a new one your on your own I dunno haha

Just get the original Edge Evo. When I put mine back to stock it is a dog compared to running on the level 2 towing setting. The shift points makes a huge difference.

All depends on what you want, tuning wise there all the same. Like I said only reason I went with the cts was cause I couldn't pass it up and ended up selling my edge evo to gain my money back

Totally worth it! The edge CS and CTS are the latest versions, but the older versions do the same thing....the same applies for SCT tuners as well

You can also get custom tuning done by PHP performance exclusively for the edge tuners..

Monitoring your PID's is also a major plus, and if you buy the optional pod for the edge, it will give the unit a very "factory" looking appearance...

Seat of your pants power, increased fuel economy, and much better shifting are very noticeable with these tuners... You won't regret a tuner purchase at all...
