Default Wrong tire size ??

Whats up all... i gott 24' rims on my truck, there 24x9.5 rims with 305/40/R24 tires.. when i hit around 60mph or so i get massive vibration from the steering colum and a lil in the cab, but only at that mph. Now i know it might be balancing but have'nt got them chked out yet just wasnt sure if the tire size was wrong or too big... any info would be great! THKS alot..
