Default The worthless change holder

Just wondering if anyone actually uses the change holder to the right of the steering column? What have/can you put in it's place? Looking for ideas

If you talking about what I'm thinking you are below the tow and 4x4 I installed my bass **** there for my sub amp. Pretty useless space for anything else.

I pulled the ashtray, drilled a hole in the bottom and routed the cable for my Edge tuner up thru the hole. Made for a nice place to put the tuner for use and where I could hide it from prying eyes just by closing the tray. I later pulled the tuner out and just replaced the ashtray. Can’t tell it was ever there unless you pull the ashtray.

Are you talking about the round change holder for non 4x4 trucks? If so, i ran a vacuum line and add a vacuum gauge, kind of useless since i no longer really care about fuel economy as it just keeps dropping, but it has alerted me to a vacuum leak.

Put a transmission temp gauge in that spot. Fits perfect and looks factory.
MUCH more useful when towing.

Sounds like the best option, there's already power attached to it, at least on my 2005.

I guess I'm one of the few that uses the "worthless" change holder for change.
