Default Wiring Puddle Lights

So I got my tow mirrors in, power and blinkers work. Now I want to wire up the puddle light, but I don't know which wire on the tow mirror to tap into to run inside my truck. Comparing the old plug to the new plug there are two pins that are in different locations. One is at the end of the stock mirrors the last two are empty, on the tow mirror the last pin is filled in... the second one is on the stock one on the top row there the last two pins are filled, and that's it for the top row, for the tow mirrors the first pin is blank with the second and third having pins. So between stock and tow there are two pins in different locations, I don't know what they do or which is for puddle light. If anyone could please help me out on this.

I just did this.

1.Pin number 9 gets moved to pin number 8.

2.Pin 2 goes to 11.
-Cut this wire so that there is enough to do a buttsplice.
-This wire gets connected to cct 53. Its located behind the drivers side kick panel. Its a black wire w/ a light blue stripe. I have some pictures someone sent me to clarify this.

Yep...also you can connect it to the same wire which is the dome light wire, under the plastic door sills. Like stated, it is a black wire with a light blue stripe. However, there are a couple of these colored wires but the one you are looking for is directly on the bottom of the wire loom in the middle. It is best to have a test light and open and close your doors to see which one it is.

So I think i need pictures of the pin layout if possible, I only moved one black pin that was by its self. So on the top row there were two wires, then on the bottom it was a black wire space then the rest with the third to last being empty. So I looked at my stock wiring and moved the solo black wire to the third slot. Then I took a 12 volt battery and test the pin on the top where it went first empty then two wires. The one wire that lit up my puddle light I cut so I could solder it. Now going into this black with a blue strip... ya i found like 3 lol. But I do have it narrowed down to this one in the attached pictures. But I tried testing it with a volt meter and was getting no reading at all with the door open and lights on, and its a tight spot so im worried about cutting into it and it being the wrong wire.

06F150, if you still got my number and got advice or pics feel free to text me.

All I need to do is finish wiring up the puddle light, everything has been tested accept heater and were getting close to spring so if it doesnt work ill make it a future project lol. Thank you everyone who posted and PM me.

Edit: Done and all working, turned on my heater mirrors and they felt warm to the touch.

Good deal, it's nice to get stuff like that working! Can you tell me which wire in the connector is for the puddle lights?I've already located the black w/ blue stripe wire under the door sill, just need to know where on the connector to run it to. Thanks!

No sorry I didn't take notes. But what I did was grab a 12v battery (idk type not a AA or D battery, but the one that has the positive and negative terminal on top and is a rectangle) and some wire and then touch each pin to see which one made the light turn on. If your holding the plug with the 2 rows going vertical on the left side is two wires, on the right is 6?( trying to do off memory). Those two on the left, it should go from top to bottom go empty, wire, wire, rest empty. The third spot, which is the second wire was it for mine. I cut that one out and soldered a wire to it that I ran to the black/blue wire inside.
