I recently installed Pioneer deh-5000, alpine mono amp, alpine 4Channel amp, Jl Front and rear components in a 05 F150 supercrew the stereo works great.

Problem is my power windows no longer work,

-The switches light up and are plugged in

-The lock switch is not enabled and seems to work

-Also when the door is open the rear defrost button will turn on or off the map lights and the relay will click.

-If the window button is held down the truck thinks the door is closed


Any ideas on what happened? I did not use a wiring harness for the deck.

 

Perhaps when doing the wiring and especially connecting the ground, did you go to an existing ground screw and by accident leave a gound wire off or loose? Another thought would be that accidentally a fuse was blown.

 

I checked all the fuses and relays and they are all good. I never used any other gounds but the ones i made for the amps. Its a mystery
