Just curious if anyone has recently got quoted to get a regear job done to their trucks. I heard of getting charged a lot less due to today's economy...

$250 + parts is normal around here for regears for one differential.

Yeah, I was quoted anywhere from $250 to $350 from my mechanic ( whom I've known and used forever. Great guy ) All depends on how long it takes.

Also area where you live will impact it. Some areas ( Cali for example ) is just more expensive.

You got that right, I just got quoted $1,800 out the door at a 4wheel Fab shop. This is for 4.56 front and rear. The shop is highly reputable, but damn, almost triple the price of what you guys are saying. Gotta love the Killa Cali prices....
