get a doctors note sayin that you need a tinted windshield. there was about four of us that all had notes from the eye doctor and had them tinted. but i wouldnt go past 35 it gets pretty damn dark at night

 

Its illegal in most states, in NY windshield tints get a lot of attention from the boys in blue.

 

windshield tint is illegal in basically every state.who cares..depends how dark you have it.mine is 35% with a 5% strip over it and never get messed with......and who says strips are banners? haha thats a first

 

and going into law enforcement....cops can still get around the dr's note if they wanna spend the time.most wont but theres a dick outta every few that wills till write a ticket over it...my 35% is perfect.never even can tell a difference at night either,,,although i do have hids....its amazing.i recommend it.on my s10 i had 20 and that sucked fat c***

I have 30% on the windshield and 5%+10% on all the other windows in my 94. I love it. It helps in the rain at night and in general at night. I'm debating on whether to tint my 07's windshield since it is a DD.
