Default Windows....

2007 King Ranch 4x4, 202,000 miles.

None of my windows (except the driver's) work from their own doors. All will go up or down from the driver control, but not from their own. The power lock switch works on both the driver and passenger door.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Sounds like you simply have the child safety switch set. Check your owner's manual or look on the window switch panel on the driver's door.

Thanks for the replies. It is the same way whether the child locks are on or not.

I'd do some switch testing in the EVTM, it needs a new master switch (drivers door switch) IMO
You could check for broken wires through the drivers door accordion
That would be futile IMO because the satellites all work (the satellites are the door switches)

No, the op said none of the other windows work from their respective doors, only from the master switch.

I would second the idea to check the loom in the driver's door jamb for broken wires. If you can't see anything obvious have someone try to work one of the other window switches while you slowly open and close the driver's door. If at some point in the switch the switch starts working momentarily, this would confirm an bad connection in the wiring.

Looking at the wiring diagram for a 2007 5.4 engine shows that power to all three other windows comes from the master switch on an YE/LG wire. And you can easily test this with either a voltmeter or test light. The switch pad on driver's door can be pried up to expose the switch and find this wire. It should be hot with ignition switch in accessory position and child lock switch turned off.

I must have read that wrong
However, if none of the satellites work, and the child lock is off = same difference, it needs a master switch
If lucky, it's just a broken wire
