Default Window Switches

I have searched and cant seem to find a thread on this topic. My window switches on the passenger doors do not light up when the lights are on. The lock switch does on the front passenger door and all the ones on the driver door light up but the rest dont. Anyone know of a link to help me solve this problem? Or anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the window lock out switch turned on? That turns the power off.

No the switches work perfectly but its the green backlighting that is not working. Does the lockout switch have anything to do with that?

The 2005 wiring diagram shows power to the switches and diode lights from the same source and ground. I don't believe they changed it in 2006.

Yup y'all are right. Never noticed that the window switch was locked. That is a pretty cool feature.

Yeah who knew something so simple could cause that. Guess I should have known since my 4Runner did stuff like that.

Question Window lights not working

The window switch lights are not working on the drivers side front window switches on '04 scab. All other lights work. Will cleaning contacts or connection fix this? or is there a led or bulb blown?..any ideas on how to fix?
