My 07 driver side does the same thing, just only when its hot outside. It comes from the glass going through the rubber at the very top.

Did mine and you have to take the door panels off and put some kind if lubricant on the metal tracks. I used silicone spray on one, and it worked great but someone told me it would degrade the cables, so i used automotive white lithium grease in a spray can on the others, lubed it up real nice and tested it out, quieted them right down.

The pulleys are notorious for making noise. Grease them and the metal rails the white plastic clips slide up and down.

Mine did this for a couple of months...then a cable broke and I had to replace the whole window regulator. Wasn't hard or that expensive ($~100).

Mines the same way with the tint. Only the driverside does it. But only if it's hot. Drives me nuts

Like others have stated, I sprayed mine with the silicone spray. I bought my truck about a month ago and squeaked like crazy on the drivers window. Spray the crap out it with the silicone spray, moved the window up and down a couple dozen times and the next day it was gone.. 1 week so far and not a squeak
