It's the motors. I've had to replace two of mine. Mine wouldn't roll up. I got a guy that works at Ford that said all 04-08's have this problem. It was just bad engineering. He has to replace ten or so a day. Soak the weatherstripping in WD40 and it prolongs the inevitable replacement.
