Default Winchin' Time...

Alright guys, here's what I'm going for. I have an '05 XLT 4x4 that I'm eventually putting a winch in. While I'd like to just put on a brush guard and piggyback off of that, I've seen enough winches behind the stock bumper that I'm taking a solid look at doing that as a Plan B. Who has a winch there, and how much of a btch was it to install and wire?

I have installed a grille guard, within that I have built a front hitch and mounted my 12,000lb winch on a hitch winch mount. The wiring is super easy, I also used Anderson quick connect/disconnects. With the hitch mount, I can can mount the winch in front of the truck or in the back. The hitch took some custom welding and work. But you don't have to go that far to get your winch setup. Thanks Crazy4x4. I was thinking about using the front receiver idea too, but since I wouldn't need to move the winch around from truck to truck I didn't put it too high on the list of options.
