3 inch hell bent steel leveling kit in the front. Im asking more about the width of the tire and the width of the rim. Will the 12.5 inch tires fit on the stock rims on my truck.

im in the market for the same width tire but on a 20" rim. it will fit 8.5" at minimum and will work fine. i wouldnt go any lower then that judging by what i have recently heard. the tires im going to get are nitto mud grappler 33x12.50-20.

I have 35 12.5 17 on stock rims with 2” hub spacers and a 2” leveling kit up front, everything works great! Looks badass. Haven’t had any issues but mine is also a pavement princess haha.

Default Picture proof!!! 35s with a 2inch level kit

I have 2inch front leveling kit and 2” hub spacers.
I managed to fit 35/12.5/17 on the truck with MINIMAL plastic cutting, you will have to trim but it’s super easy.

I got Toyo open country AT 2s put on and we had to trim the small plastic shield in the front of the tire at full lock, and a small portion of the plastic that wraps the fender in the back. Took 20 minutes of trimming.

whole job with hubs, plastic fab, tires ordering and mounting, came to 1100.

Your profile reads a 2010 F-150 XLT, this section is for the Gen-11 2004 to 2008 F-150. Each truck style is slightly different to how it sits, how the fenders are installed and how A-arms affect tire size fitment. In most cases with a 2.5" front level and 35.12.5x17 stock wheels will fit. But in most cases it's the back spacing that's most important for rubbing issues on the A-arms. Without proper back spacing you'll have to run wheel spacers. Your 35x12.5x17 Toyo Open Country AT2 tires are actually 34.5x12.5x17 which are slightly shorter than a true 35" tire. All of these slight changes do affect tire fitment. BYW, your truck does look nice !7
