Okay well I don't wanna be a thread stealer or anything but I'm really looking into a programer for my '01 5.4 4X4 and was intrigued by the Hypertech E-Con. Now don't blow up on me or anything. I'm not getting upgrades just for gas mileage...I do like the "go" petal to roar a little more, but economy is big for me. My question is if I get a Justin V3 XCal (which only reports a gain of 1-2 MPG on economy), how would it compare to the Hypertech E-con (with a reported 2-6 MPG increase)? I know that the XCal is a much superior programmer but was just wondering. Thanks.

But I have another question, if I get the Justin tunes and also get a Fitch Fuel Catalyst filter (which supposedly raises the octan a step), should I get my tunes for what the F.F.C. says my fuel will be, or should I get the regular low grade tunes.
