So I have an 08 FX2 5.4 and today I washed the engine compartment like I always do. Started it and drove to town and back no issues. After a few hours I went to start it and it turned over really slow like the battery was almost dead but it did start. Then I look at my gauges and every gauge is at the off position and twitching and after about 20 seconds or so they popped up and were reading fine. Just thought it was kinda weird and I was wondering if its a sign of things to come. Has anyone had this happen?

Get the battery tested. The gauges do that when the battery is in the frits

Mine did the same today.... Just bit the bullet and bought a new one and all is fine....didn't want to be stranded and was still on stock battery...
