'08 fx4...missing something in cluster??
I bought an '08 FX4 about 3 months ago and something has bothered me since day one of ownership. Am I suppose to have some sort of "FX4" emblem/badge along the bottom-middle, in the instrument cluster? At night it is just a bright, backlit rectangle that makes no sense. I have a center console shifter so I know it will not have the usual "PRND21" indicator there. Should something be there?

I did a Carfax today and all of the mileage is accounted for and correct. I took the cluster out today and none of the screwheads had marks on them from any sort of previous disassembly.
I can see how that FX4 emblem "could" fall out though. I checked all around the steering column area. I even pulled the carpet back a little bit near the firewall to see if could be laying there.
No luck.
If anyone has a leftover "FX4" logo from a cluster swap please PM me. I can Paypal you cash for your time/postage.

FIXED IT!!! kinda....
I Google image searched a "FX4" logo. I then dove into my wife's hobby area and found some white card stock. Using our home computer printer set to max resolution, I printed the logo onto the card stock. Logo size is 2.5" x .48". After laminating it, I used packing tape and taped the logo underneath the black cluster background. The cluster backlights shines through the tape and card stock.
Something different & personalized.
