Why is it everyone sprays there wheels flat black on there truck. What's wrong with chrome or aluminum . There's no pop when u look at them. .. a couple of guys across the street. Have 4 cars all of them have sprayed black wheels don't like the look. Well that's just me . .. unless chrome went to a different direction these days

 

Different strokes for different folks. Im not a fan of that look either but everyone has different tastes.

 

Not a fan either, buts that's just me. Their an accent for some body colors but also make a
truck look worse with others.

 

Rednecks makeover

 

I just Plasti-dipped them to see what they would look like. Kept it on for a week and then peeled it off.

 

I've never really been a chrome fan, thats kind of went the wayside the last couple years, but I love machined look painted aluminum kinda thing, so not all black. I do have Black wheels on my wifes car tho, had to go stormtrooper status!

 

I'd accent mine to the same color as truck but not paint over the machined part

 

I love my chrome wheels but I HATE cleaning them. Been tempted several times to plasti-dip but it just wouldn't look right on my truck

 

I sprayed mine black, they were dick Cepek billet aluminum. My truck is stormtrooper'd so it was only fitting. Plus brake dust and dirt make chrome look horrible...and I'm way to lazy to clean them constantly.

 

Its like a black truck .. wax it. Its amazing. If not cleaned looks like dick. My last truck was black. Hated cleaning it all the time ..chrome wheels aren't so bad to clean but look great cleaned
