I asked the same question and the answer I was given was the issue is not common enough to issue a tsb or recall

any idea what their lowest % threshold is before they consider it a tsb or worse a recall?

My drivers side leaked since I've had the truck. One of the studs backed out of the head, didn't have any broken. Replaced the manifold, gaskets and studs about a month ago and now I have a faint leak that I believe is coming from where the manifold bolts to the Y pipe. Haven't had the ambition yet to crawl under it again and fix it.

Both driver side and passenger side of mine were replaced due to cracking, at 150k. Best part was it was covered under a dealer 30 day warranty. Bad part, i believe the driver's side is leaking again.
But i have plans on headers so hopefully that takes care of it.

No idea it's not a cheap or easy repair. I know there is a guy down the street with an 05 or 04 and his is bad but he keeps driving it also a guy I work with has a 2001 and I know he did his also

Passenger side gasket leaks on mine when it is really cold out. When the truck heats up, it goes away.

04 4.6L with 258k, so I can't complain
