Default who all has a exhaust manifold leak.

alot of older 5.4 liter fords seemed to have a passenger side exhaust manifold leak. just wondering how pervasive this actually is?
does yours leak? which side, which year/how many km?
my 2006 5.4 liter leaks on passenger side at 210000 km
is there a recall or tsb on this?

My '07 5.4 had it on the passenger side, started right around 76,000 miles. Got that fixed at a cost of $1,200 and a week without my truck. About two weeks later the driver side let loose and started leaking. Brought it to a different mechanic and he fixed the leak, replaced my passenger side front axle (I noticed a clicking sound coming from it when I dropped it off at his shop to get the exhaust leak fixed) rotated my tires and changed my oil all for a grand total of $725 and only took 'em two days.

My truck ('04 5.4) came with a cracked manifold on the passenger side (sometime before 70k miles).

Pretty sure my driver's side is leaking a bit....5.4 going on 77k miles.
I'm hoping to get an EB fx4 come summer/fall....if not I would get headers.

Bought my 04 FX4 with 62,000 and the passengers side manifold was cracked and leaking. I bought a set of new FRPP discontinued Ceramacoated headers for $200 off of Ebay. Put them in and cured the passengers side leak but now the drivers side has a small leak. I have had the drivers side header in and out 2 or 3 different times and tried different gaskets with the same results. My buddies truck has the same passengers side issue. He bought boost brothers headers off of Ebay and we will be installing them soon. His is a 04 FX4 as well and it started in the 70k range
