Where to find factory door keypad lock code?

Default Where to find factory door keypad lock code?

I need to change my code but says I need to enter factory code first but I know clue what it is and no clue where to look for. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Usually on a card left in the glove box but you can go to the dealer and they can get it for you. Some dealers might even do it for free for you. Once you get the master code you can change the access code to something else, but keep the master code safe somewhere as it will always be the master code.


EDIT: this is based off what a dealer told me and could be entirely wrong. techrep seems to know more about this!

It's located behind the back seat. the control module is mounted on the rear cab wall...Factory code is on a sticker affixed to the module.

woah, that I didn't know. Dealer lied to me when they told me what I post above. Thanks for that, I'm going to fold my backseat down in a little and check for myself!

Location varies by model year. Some are under dash, some by right kickplate, others behind rear seat.

Does it matter that mine is a single cab? Bc I've been all back there building a custom sub box to fit perfect and I didn't see any module.

Umm yeah...check under the drivers side dash or behind the fuse box in the passenger kick panel like Rick said.. you could of mentioned that in your first post...information is power here...SCREW and SCAB are behind the seat.
