I am planning on putting some auxiliary lights on my truck and am wondering where you guys mount auxiliary switches on your truck(s)?
I was thinking about putting them on the panels highlighted in red below. I was wondering, before I go cutting into a perfectly good trim panel, where could I find a replacment in case I accidently mess these up?
Also what in the world is that little plastic piece highlighted in blue?? That has got me stumped.
The blue highlighted thing is a coin holder and is where the electronic 4WD shift switch is located on models that have it. Except the light switch panel, the other areas you highlighted are actually part of the dash and are not replaceable without replacing the entire dash.

That is what I was afraid of. Whats the best place to mount switches without permanently "damaging" the truck?
This truck doesn't have a ash tray on it. I could put them under the radio, but some of them I may need to use while driving. I was hoping I could locate them a little closer to the steering wheel. If that's not possible, that's probably what I will end up doing.
