I wouldn't install a 3" leveling kit on my truck. Your front suspension is going to be at some pretty severe angles. You'll be replacing parts alot quicker than normal.

yeah and you will be replacing tires pretty quick too...when i did my 2.5 leveling kit, i 4got to get an allignment, and my tires went to hell by 16000 miles...i got new tires and allignment now, so im hoping that this helps out, but when you do leveling kits, you A arms go a lot lower, and your tires start to run at an inward angle at the lower point, so you wear out the outside of the tires...

Default Tire Help

I recently bought a '05 F150 with a leveling kit. Just noticed front ires are bald on inside part of tread. Outside is fine. Has to be an issue from before because I haven't had this truck for very long. Dont think I need an alignment but could the wear be from previous owner not getting alignment after leveling truck? Running 285/70/R17's right now, can I get away with 35's since I need new rubber?

sounds like alignment which could be caused by the level, but also could be ball joints. If the ball joints are bad then an alignment won't last long. As for 35's... Yes with trimming if it's a 4x4. No if it's 2wd.
