Not to hijack..but I have always wondered about these...do they cause any added damage? I have 17x9 XD Addicts with a +18 offset, ordered the wrong ones..wanted -12 but I figured by adding some spacers I could push them out a bit more...but am worried about premature wear...

There's always gonna be a big debate about spacers but In my personal experience i haven't had any issues with them, and I had put mine to the test. Did 8000 km highway and city and more than a dozen times offroading pretty hard and they haven't came loose or caused any damage, I'll be checking if there still torqued at 130ftlbs later today and my spacers are 1.5"

But if your gonna be purchasing spacers you have to make sure there "hub centric" if there not hub centric you might come across a few issues

Did you have to cut down the wheel studs at all?

There are many different brands as long as it's designed for our trucks and it's hub centric. Hub centric wheel spacers are machined to fit our hub and rims perfectly with no play, non hub centric spacers can cause your wheel to be off centered

No cutting at all, the factory lugs get bolted on through the holes of the spacer shown in the picture above than the rim gets bolted onto the lugs that are on the spacer
