Default Wheel hub assembly...

Does anyone know how to check if a wheel hub assembly is bad? I have a 2007 F150 4x4 with 5.4L, here is a little bit about what I am trying to figure out. When I make a left turn there is almost a rubbing, vibrating sound. It only does it when I turn left. I have a lift kit on my truck (8in Rize) so I took it to 4 wheel parts where the lift was installed and they tell me that everything with the kit is good, and that they assume the problem to be with the wheel hub assembly. I was going to just replace anyway but it is like 285 for one side. I took off my wheels to see if there was any play from side to side or up and down any everything is tight no play. Your help would be greatly appriecated.

If the wheel hub/bearing is going bad then it should make an almost growling noise when driving and . i just had mine replaced cost about $400 from my local mechanic dealer wanted 700 go figure.

The rubbing noise could be caused by the front CV joints. Some front-wheel drives have the same noise only when turning that is usually the front CV, the wheel bearing/hub would be making noise going straight or turning.
