Hi all,
I recently purchased a F150 XLT 2007 5.4 V3 with 186k miles, the guy in the last 80k miles replaced the cam phases, plugs, timing chain & tensioner, exhaust header - passenger side and fan clutch. He did his own work with his dad an air force mechanic. What should I keep tabs on while owning it, the truck runs nice and smooth. I do not use it for work, just around town and once in a while a piece of furniture for my wife's antique store. Thanks for your thoughts and great forum!

Honestly...just maintain it.
Maybe give the front and rear suspension components a thorough check

Thanks Scorge, that's what the guy told me, "I replaced what was known as problem areas, so keep up with maintenance and you should be fine". He use to be on this forum and he learnt a lot, that's why I signed up to stay informed. Thanks.

Yeah, this place is full of knowledge. You're at the right place though.
Just an aside, my truck has 228k. Still runs like a champ. I'm sure it'll serve you well. Not to mention, all bias aside, this generation of trucks still look very good

Helluva good price for the miles and repair work. Is it 4x4? I see you didn't write if it is so I'm assuming it's 4x2

Yes it is a 4x4
228k nice, I guess if you stay on top of it, you get that longevity.
