I used 2.5 but I welded mine in place center to center works fine but I belive I used offset I can't remember now my. 40 series gave my a aggressive tone with minimal drone at 65 at 50-55 you can't even hear it untill I put high flow cats the it got a little more noisy not to crazy but any local muffler shop will weld it in place or next to nothing it's a 30 min job to do a muffler swap

Default Flowmaster

I just had a Flowmaster 40 series put on my '07 screw yesterday. I had the same concerns about it being too much - it sounds great. Got sound sound bytes-

Ive tried calling a few shops. They suck around here. they say around a couple hundred just to swap the muffler. Ill try a few more. I realized im going to have to get it welded becasue of the tail pipe section. Looking at it today and and where the tail pipe section comes out of the muffler has a curve going up so i wouldnt be able to get a good connection there with clamps. Oh well i guess ill just save up and spend the $450 for SI/DO all welded with tips. Thats what i paid for on the RAM and they did a good job. Just trying to save a few this time lol.

I'll send you a PM, and the drone isn't that bad in my opinion. I'm just changing up the look of the truck, thinking about going with a single pipe with a raptor tip.

If you could send me a pm with price and details too, just in case he does decide to go with the magnaflow and not yours. I'll grab em in a heartbeat after payday lol.

Cut the stock muff out then put in pipe+muffler to compensate.

I did an MBRP exhaust system. Thanks for the compliments.
