Default Whats needed to change stock exhaust?

So I want to change out my exhaust. I think im set on an 18" magnaflow from what ive read as far as sound. Nothing to loud but still a deep tone with minimal-no drone. Im curious to what it would take to replace the stock muffler with a magnaflow but still keep stock tubing. Obviously i would need a couple longer pipes and clamps but IDK what sizes. And what offset would be required on the magnaflow? Im just trying to get that sound without too much cost so i dont want to buy the entire kit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

all you need to do is take the muffler you want to a muffler shop and have them take care of it. i think the stock tubing is 2.5" in diameter.

I think 2.25" diameter on the tubing. I did it in my build thread.

2.5 inch piping. Single in/single out. center in, center out should work the best, but offset inlet/outlet will work as well. I have taken mine to local exhaust shop and they weld it in for fifty bucks.

Single pipe from cats to muffler, then dual from muffler out the back. It's bolt on, and yes I can get you some pictures today!

I had a 40 series on my hemi RAM and the drone drove me crazy. How is it on these trucks? I think I'm pretty set on magnaflow from what I read on the sound. What are you selling exactly and how much are u looking to get?

Looks easy enough. Did u just have the tail pipe section cut off and re attached to the magnaflow? Nice truck by the way. Those 4300k fogs are bright! What did you replace your magnaflow with? Did u get rid of it?
