This is the receiving end of the retainer clip on a cowl for 2008 Ford F150.

I replaced both left and right aide of my cowl today and must have busted this pice off when I was removing the Retainer clips. Now I can’t get the clip to stay bc there is nothing for it to clip into. I’m having a hell of a time figuring out the name to search for a replacement part.

Once the cowl is on, the retainer clip is supposed to clip into this piece. What is the name of this piece?

 

Don't recall have said clip on my cowl... just a screw that holds them together. Sorry can't help with the name of it.

 

On my 2004 there is not a clip. It has a Christmas tree push pin on each side of the cowl.

 

exactly... and s screw in the middle
