What the heck is this?!?!

It is located right under the steering wheel. I cant tell if it is a button or what?

don't know. my 05 doesn't have it. did you buy the truck used? maybe someone added it.

No it is completely stock. I got it new.

It looks like a dealer installed ignition disabling device. You need an electronic "key" to start the truck. They often disarm them when they leave the lot.

I just got under there again, and there is a button on the back of it. it is a little spring button.
Any ideas?

I still think it's a dealer installed ignition kill device.
