Default What is this? Doesn't look good

Well I changed my brake pads today and while I was doing the front driver side I noticed that this didn't look good. I'm not too smart with mechanics and I'm not even sure what part this is. It looks like the rubber that was once there has worn off and just came off and the rubber underneath is about to do the same.

What part is this and how hard is it to replace?

It's a sway bar end link. They're not to expensive and pretty easy to replace.

Thanks guys for the fast response. Looks like I will be doing some research now on replacing them. Might as well do both sides in the front if they are easy to do. If anyone has any tips on replacing them or which brands to go with, let me know!

Super easy to change. Unscrew the nut on the top on both sides and pivot the swaybar up, swap out bushings and put it back together the same way you took it apart. 30 min job tops and that's removing the front wheels!

Well it looks like there are plenty of 4WD replacement sway bar end links but can't find too many 2WD ones. Any recommendations?

all you need is the bushings, u can buy a set at the auto parts store and then just use the poly bushings... problem solvedor just take your set with you and buy the same length new set!

I think I may go with the Moog link and bushing replacement instead of putting new bushings on the old oem link. I've read some good things about the Moog replacement.

Well I may just replace the bushings after some more though, but I'm confused on which bushings to get? Everywhere online they are suggesting bushings that look nothing like the bushings I have on it now. They aren't round like the bushings on it now. Here is a photo of what they suggest, and below it is a photo of what I think may fit but they say it won't.

Remember, I have the 2WD which uses different bushings than 4WD, I believe.

What they say fits.

What I think would fit, but it "doesn't fit my vehicle".

What do you guys think? Do you think that the second bushings would fit as well? They look very similar to what is on there now. I'm not sure what the first bushings are, but they look nothing like what is on there now. Must be some sort of mix up. Its weird though because I've looked on like 10 different websites that suggest those weird bushings.

The blue ones you show are for where the bar mounts to the frame and you don't need them. Just get the rebuild kits for the sway bar end links. Don't over think it...replace the rubbers, washers, and nut on both sides.
