What did your F150 replace?

My 2013 F150 replaced my 2011 SRT8 Challenger. Beautiful car but a piece of ****. I sued Chrysler and got my money back after 19 months of hell. Even the day I turned it into Chrysler the ABS/Traction control light came on and the Temp gauge stopped working. The car was fast as hell though for such a sled.

Only replaced a vehicle in sense of it being a daily driver. In the last year before buying my F150 I replaced an engine, 2 clutches, radiator/cooling fan, and rebuilt the trans on my 96 Cobra. It was on jackstands more than it ran so had to go for a new daily.

Replaced the family truckster Ford Windstar with a 2010 F150 Lariat when Ford recalled the windstar for a faulty rear axle. They wouldn't have parts to replace it for 5-6 months so they offered me $6000 towards a new Ford. Not bad for a 2000 with 180k on it. Ford took care of me and I am very happy with my Truck.

'04 F350 Lariat Diesel & 6 spd manual tranny, manual xfer case, and manual hubs
The diesel was just too much sitting there. We had bought my wife a new car on account of a baby coming, so I kept her old coupe as a commuter beater. I sold that truck with 78,000 miles on it with all the goodies (all toolboxes, hitches, etc) and traded to an '08 F150 Screw XLT 4X4. I hunted until I found one with two options I had to have. A 6 1/2' bed and tow mirrors.
I sometimes miss my old truck. It was a beast! And I had been driving trucks that size my whole life. But it's so much easier to just hop in the F150 and go.

misses 3 on the tree
my car history, dates are as close as I can recall due to my CRS syndrome.
First car was a 67 VW bug. had it from 75 until 77
In 77 I bought 74 Camaro. Man I loved that car. Orange with a white interior, real girl magnet.
Sold the 74 Camaro in 1978 and bought a 71 VW bug.
Sold the VW and bought a 71 Monte Carlo in 1981 The Monte was a muscle car, 451, 4 bbl, turbo tranny, possy rear end. Wrecked the crap out of it one night.
Bought a 68 Chevy pick up afterwards in about 83 and began my love affair with trucks. The half ton Chevy had a 283 and a three on the tree tranny.
Sold the Chevy in 85 and bought a brand new red Dodge Ram 2wd with a 225 six banger and stick shift. Great truck but very basic, no AC or much of anything else on it, LOL.
Bought a 95 Ranger SCAB new in 94. I liked it fine, real pretty red truck but found the cab too small for my taste and traded it in on a new '99 SCAB XLT at the end of '98. Drove that truck for near 15 years until this March when I traded it on my 2013 STX.
I can't believe I remembered all of that.
