Default What did your F150 replace?

Earlier this year I bought my 05 Lariat because I needed a back seat in one of my vehicle that I could put a baby seat in, our first is due in October. My car wasn't an option so my old truck had to go.

Here is the truck my F150 replaced, a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT

The replacement

What did you replace and why?

Plenty of room in the back of the supercab for a baby seat.

The old ranger had the sideways facing drop down seats, no way to safely put a baby in the back.

The F150 I'm told can fit a baby seat in the middle of the rear bench seat.

My buddy has an '03 supercab, which has a smaller back seat, and his rear facing seat fits just find in the middle. On my '08 supercab, my daughter's forward facing seat fits just fine on the passenger side.

Oh, and mine replaced an '04 Grand Prix GT :P.

My 05 "replaced" my 01 Ranger. I still have the Ranger because I love it but it wasnt practical for hauling the family and I needed a truck with more towing capacity. I love both my trucks, my Ranger is now just a weekend toy and the Lariat is the tow rig.

My 05 FX4 replaced this... 2003 Mach 1. Loved this car and I miss it a lot! The F150 doesn't turn near as many heads as this did! But I have 4x4 so it makes up for it!

Mine replaced a 98 Nissan Altima. 200+ thousand miles, and it needed motor mounts and axles. I sold it for $1200 after I got my truck.
